Thank you once again to the team of friends and family who worked so hard on Saturday to complete Phase 2 of the outdoor classroom in KS1’s playground. It is looking fabulous and our children’s learning is really going to be enhanced by it. There is a story circle, a trail, spaces to explore—the next phase is to create a Bug Hotel and a mud kitchen. This is very exciting! If anyone has any wooden pallets that they could donate then we would be very grateful as these can be used to create the Bug Hotel. Help for phase 3 will be much appreciated.
Ms Wardle set a creative challenge to all the pupils when she announced her Art & Design Competition recently. The theme was 'What do you love about Weddington Primary School?' and any art media was encouraged. Ms Wardle said "Well done to everyone who entered. It was so hard to choose a winner so I picked 5!!"

Thank you to the Year 6 team, Ms Wardle, Mrs Smith & all the staff volunteers who have helped with our early morning breakfast club this week. This has been a huge success, creating a relaxed and informal environment for the Year 6 pupils before their tests. I must also say that the smell of toast has been wonderful wafting through the corridors!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
