A group of four, year 6 children to enter a ‘rowing’ competition at Etone. Using gym-style rowing machines, each of them participated in an individual row for 1 minute 30 seconds and then a relay race for 1 minute each. They all showed amazing determination and passion. It was a pleasure to watch how supportive they were towards each other. As well as having lots of fun they also won first place! Between all of them, they rowed a total of 2,069 metres, which was a clear 200 metres in front of the team in second place! We are so proud of our rowers and, who knows, maybe we will see them at the Olympics in years to come!!!
We now also have the opportunity to compete in the county finals. Good luck to the team!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
