Our 5/6 Football Team have been smashing their football matches in the local schools' tournament!
They won their first match 8-1 and their second 2-1. Keep it up!
They had a few tough games losing 3 -2 and 2-0 but also a win of 6-3. Keep your spirits up lads!
Year 5/6 Football Cup Team
The Year 5 football team played in a tournament. They tried really hard and are definitely improving as a team. They also looked the part in their smart Weddington kits. Well done Year 5 - thank you for being so amazing when representing the school. #Awesome!
The Girls 5/6 football team played brilliantly in their competition coming 2nd in their group. They played for 3rd or 4th place in the last game. We saw some superb play, and a fantastic goal scored from a corner, securing our position as 3rd. Huge congratulations to the whole team!
