Weddy's Got Talent
Wow, what an evening - there is certainly lots of amazing talent at Weddington Primary School.
The children were all completely amazing, wowing the audience and judges with their outstanding performances.
After much deliberation, the judges announced the winners.
1st place went to Molly from Year 5 for her beautiful rendition of the Harry Potter theme on her flute.
2nd place was too hard to call and was given jointly to Year 1's Holly and Reception's Zach for their puzzling magic show and Year 2's Ella for her magical performance of Million Dreams.
Again, 3rd place was too close to call and the judges awarded itjointly to Cameron and Logan (both from Year 6). Cameron blew them away with his version of Million Dreams whilst Logan amazed them with his performance of Live and Let Die.
The judges weren't the only important opinion though - the children also had their vote.
Children's Choice award was given to ABCD for their fantastic version of Seven Nation Army. ABCD is made up of 2 sets of brothers: Ted (Year 6) & Andy (Year 2) and Theo (Year 6) & Oscar (Year 4).
Well done to all who took part, you were all completely out of thisworld AMAZING! I don't envy the judged having to make such a difficult decision.
Weddy's Got Talent - Many Thanks
Weddington were over the moon to welcome the very talented 4th Avenue as judges at our show last night.
Danny, Adam, Dougie and Tom helped judge the acts; presented the winner's certificates; signed photos for the audience and posed for pictures with the acts.
We were very grateful for them giving us their evening.
