We would like to make you aware of several awareness weeks / days that we will be acknowledging this year.
These will not be fundraising events but maybe consist of non-uniform or some work through an assembly or during PSHE.
3rd – 9th February 2020 – Children’s Mental Health Week “Find Your Brave” (Show and Tell)
16th March 2020 – World Down’s Syndrome Day (Wear Odd Socks - this is to start conversations about diversity and uniqueness as well as chromosomes looking like socks - due to Downs Syndrome being the cause of a third chromosome 21.
2nd April 2020 – World Autism Awareness Day (Spectrum of colours non-uniform day - no cost, just to raise awareness)
4th – 10th May 2020 – Deaf Awareness Week
5th May 2020 – World Asthma Day
