Weddington Primary are positively brimming with pride!
We have some truly amazing children in our school and on Wednesday 25th April 2018, their fantastic literacy skills were recognised at Nuneaton Festival of Arts.
Our awesome children achieved 9 first places, three first place winners had the additional honour of being awarded a cup to celebrate their amazing work. Henry in Year 3 was given one for the best piece of writing across years 1,2 and 3, Ted in Year 5 was awarded his for best short story and Zayd's outstanding poetry was recognised when he was also awarded a cup. It was decided that Weddington had the best poetry over all and as a school we were delighted to accept the Eva Rushton cup.
Additionally, our children achieved two second places, three third places and four certificates of achievements.
