Show & Tell for Children’s Mental Health Week 3rd-9th February 2020
This year the theme is “Show Your Brave” and we would like the children of Weddington to share, learn and help each other to Find their Brave. We all take brave steps in our everyday lives and when we do, we feel more positive and confident.
Your child should bring in something themed around bravery – an object, photo, picture or story about them doing something where they Found their Brave. Your class teacher will then let your child know which day they can bring their item in to share it with the class.
Thank you for your support

Dear Parent
As always, I have been called to Milby Primary School, St Nicolas Academy, Weddington School and Higham Lane School, due to concerns raised by residents, parents and school staff regarding bad parking by parents picking up or dropping off their children.
Please remember:
Parents who drive to school for whatever reason, should be mindful not only of their children’s safety, but also the safety of the other children. Consideration should also be given to residents of the area.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours Sincerely
Julie Green

Weddington Primary School NEEDS YOU!
We are looking for potential candidates to take up a role as a Governor on the school’s governing body.
This is a rewarding role where your suggestions on how to improve our school will be welcomed and where you will form part of a strong, effective group responsible for shaping the future of the school and holding leaders to account in areas such as financial management, progress, attainment, health, safety and wellbeing.
We meet twice a term on a Thursday evening.
If you are interested in becoming a Governor, or would like further information, please contact the school office on 02476 340729.
Yours Sincerely,
J. Kershaw (Head teacher)
