Happy Easter Year 3!
We would like all of the children, carers, mum and dads to have a break for the school holiday. Week 3 of White Rose Lessons (you've done week 1 and week 2, the links are on our class page for each week) will be set after Easter so please do not complete them yet. You can still access Education City and Purple Mash although you won't find any tasks or 2Dos set because it's the holiday. You can practise the things we've asked you to work on if you would like.
We have set a half term holiday project (due in 3 weeks so you do not need to do anything in the Easter holidays), you can find the details below on this page.
We have also shared some ideas of Easter activities. We know lots of you (just like us) had fun things planned for this holiday, things which we are now unable to do! So hopefully you will find these activities useful to think of things to do. There isn't any expectation that any school work is completed in the holiday. You can dojo us any pictures of your holiday fun.
Please enjoy your break, let's hope that the sun shines! Be safe. Miss you all. Mr Steer and Ms Vieira.
Some ideas to help you with your Roman research.
At this time of year, it's important to understand why we celebrate Easter and what a special time of year it is for people of certain faiths and religions. Read the story of Easter and try to answer the questions (the answers are at the end of the document).
These Easter activities are sure to keep you busy during the holidays. They can be printed, but do not need to be. There are lots of activities to get stuck in to, I especially like the ones about learning to communicate through British Sign Language, Morse Code or Semaphore! 3 new languages Year 3 could pick up during this holiday!
Keep fit with activities and games from PE Hub.
