As it should now be the Easter school holiday, WE ARE NOT SETTING ONLINE WORK FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS but instead, would like the children to have fun doing some Easter activities. There are a few suggestions below.
Easter craft ideas at
A variety of ideas and free printables for Easter.
Make an Easter bonnet and send a photo on Dojo that we can share with the rest of the class.
Why not play some traditional party games but give them an Easter twist?
Pin the tail on the bunny! Draw out a large bunny and have a fluffy white tail for the blindfolded person to try and stick in the correct place with blutak.
Easter charades. Choose ideas with an Easter theme for players to act out.
Throw the balls/beanbags through the bunny’s mouth. Make a large bunny out of thick cardboard and give it a big, open mouth for players to try and throw the balls/beanbags through.
You can still join in with P.E. with Joe Wickes every morning but…if you want a change from Joe, Mrs Courtney suggests trying this: https://pehubportal.co.uk/
Please note: Week 3 of White Rose Lessons will be set after Easter, so please do not complete them yet. You can still access Ed City and Purple Mash although you won't find any tasks or 2Dos set because it's the holiday. You can practise the things we've asked you to work on if you would like.
Edinburgh Zoo Offer live webcam to allow you to watch several animals at the zoo.
Other zoos also offer similar webcams if you like to watch the animals.
There are all kinds of ‘Scavenger Hunts’ the children could have fun doing over the break. This is just one idea, from ‘Iheartcraftythings.com’ (see below) for a colour scavenger hunt. There are lots of other options for scavenger hunts to be done indoors or out in the garden for example: an alphabet scavenger hunt, a materials scavenger hunt (links with science)…and so many more!
We have set a half term holiday project (due in 3 weeks so you do not need to do anything in the Easter holidays), you can find the details below.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
