As you will most likely be aware the information and advice for Coronavirus is changing frequently. For more information please follow the attached link.
This is the Government advice we are following in school.
Our understanding for anybody who has travelled to Italy is; if you have been north of Pisa and show flu-like symptoms you should self-isolate for 14 days. If you have been to one of the quarantined areas you must self-isolate for 14 days regardless of whether you are symptomatic. This includes 10 small towns in Lombardy (Codogno, Castiglione d’Adda, Casalpusterlengo, Fombio, Maleo, Somaglia, Bertonico, Terranova dei Passerini, Castelgerundo and San Fiorano) and one in Veneto (Vo’ Euganeo).
For more information please see the attached link.
Just as a reminder the following symptoms may develop in the 14 days after exposure to someone who has COVID-19 infection:
· difficulty in breathing
Whilst we don’t want to cause alarm or panic we ask that everybody heeds the advice given and takes sensible steps to prevent the spread of infection.
